Three Ways to Style a NYE Dress

Hi!

NYE is right around the corner and in an effort to keep sustainability in mind, I’ll be styling the dress that I wore last year in three different ways!

I layered a cropped black turtle neck under this dress for a warmer, edgy, chic look. My hair is straight with bobby-pin detailing and chose to highlight rings as the accessory of choice. Boots keep this look comfy and casual. Simple and understated, this outfit would work well if you’re ringing the new year in at a bar with some close friends.

Top: Black Turtleneck Crop, H&M
Dress: Shiny Asymmetrical Dress, Necessary Clothing
Shoes: Black Platform Boots, Aldo
Accessories: Silver Rings, Canal Street Markets

This look is pretty dramatic with the high pony-tail, long earrings, and pearl-detailed stilettos. Red lips tie everything together and draw the attention back up towards the face. This outfit would probably be more suitable for a club setting.

Dress: Shiny Asymmetrical Dress, Necessary Clothing
Shoes: Pearl Stilettos, Ross
Accessories: Long Silver Earrings, Canal Street Markets
Lips: Mia Wallace, Urban Decay

This look is a little more casual but still posh. I tucked the dress into another shiny skirt (different color, different texture) and paired the outfit with simple heeled sandals. My hair is pushed to one side and lots of volume added. I feel like this look is understated but still classy enough to be worn to a variety of different gatherings.

Dress: Shiny Asymmetrical Dress, Necessary Clothing
Skirt: Textured Bronze Skirt, Forever 21
Shoes: Black Sandals, Steve Madden
Accessories: Silver Stud Earrings, Canal Street Markets
Lips: Mia Wallace, Urban Decay

What are some of your favorite NYE outfits? Would love to know!
