Hey y’all! I’ve just moved to Nashville and the weather here is much nicer than it is in New York.
As a move-in present, my boyfriend bought me this super cute hoodie. It’s made with a lightweight cotton material and is perfect for layering on chilly spring nights. The design features a graphic fox print with paddles on the back.
The people here are very serious about their blue jeans and boots but sticking true to my northeast background, I’ve kept it city-chic with black platform boots and lightly distressed skinny jeans.

Hi friends! Here in NY, we’re still in the heat of summer but autumn is slowly making its appearance known with diminishing daylight and chillier mornings. My outfit is centered around this bright and colorful bird of paradise dress. Because the print is contrasted against a black background, it almost has a graphic and urban feel. The fit is loose and comfortable but with a structured neckline. I’ve styled it with chunky sandals and a black choker for an edgy look.

Sandals: DABBLE Two Part Sandals, Topshop
Choker: Black Chain Choker, H&M
As opposed to the ultra-feminine previous look, this next outfit definitely fits more in the athleisure category.
I just loved the color-blocked conservative front in contrast to the dramatically exposed back. Doc Martens and an all-black chain choker toughen up the look for a chill neighborhood rooftop hang.
Alternatively, the top would work really well as a beach coverup for a flirty and colorful bikini.
Cheers! Happy July!

Apologies for the lack of updates, but I’ve just moved out of my parents’ house in Queens into my own apartment in Brooklyn and have been spending a lot of time adjusting my schedule.
The weather here in NY has been extremely turbulent; weekdays are sunny and warm, while weekends have remained rainy and frigid. This outfit was inspired by the contrast and balances a stormy, weather-proof, windbreaker on top of an iridescent and airy summer dress.

Dress: Backless Opalescent Cocktail Dress, Alice and Olivia
Tights: Black Thigh-High Tights, H&M

This is a casual weekend look starring an all-blue ensemble with taupe wedges. I wanted to experiment with wearing outerwear as the main article of clothing so I buttoned up the cardigan and wore it as a long sleeve top. I think the results turned out alright!
I’ve matched the look with a lacy, jewel toned bralette underneath, and classic blue cigarette jeans. The taupe wedges continue to convey the laid-back vibe and also make it easy to clomp around.
Have you ever experimented with outerwear before? What are some of your favorite looks?
Cardigan: Short Cardigan, Zara

My new shoes came!
I tend to avoid prints, but while browsing, I simply couldn’t resist the big, bright florals featured on this shoe.
I kept the rest of the outfit simple with an all-black concept and topped the entire look off with a sporty windbreaker.
Sweater: Fine-Knit Turtleneck Sweater, H&M
Shorts: Lace Shorts, Forever 21
